The Fibonacci sequence is defined as “a sequence of numbers in which each successive number in the sequence is obtained by adding the two previous numbers in the sequence.” Whilst the true Fibonacci sequence starts with zero and one, Cal Poly freshman Abbey Ellis has created a sequence of her own in her opening four college games, culminating in a game-winning 29-point outing in the Mustangs’ 62-43 first win of the season over Sacramento State.
