Although there were not too many Aussies in action in the top European leagues over the past week, those that did play put in fine performances and played valuable role for their teams. Over in Spain, Chris Goulding led from the front for CAI Zaragoza with 19 points in a disappointing 67-103 blowout loss to FC Barcelona. Goulding played a starring role, going 5/10 from the field and a vital 4/5 from three-point range. Rediscovering the form that has eluded him for the last few months and finding his stroke from outside, his renewed confidence also saw him attacking the rim (5/7 FT). However Goulding's efforts did little to prevent the powerhouse that is FC Barcelona.
