Great breakdown, Jacob! There are some really key match-ups there, and every game is going to present a challenge for the Boomers.
I was a little worried about our close out D in the warm-up games with Venezuela and Brazil (especially), but it looks like our switches and doubles worked a lot better against France. We’ll definitely need to be “on” against Germany and Japan (if they get hot from beyond the arc).
Nick Kay has been a monster in the warm-up games - literally bleeding for the cause - but I’ve also been hugely impressed with the work that Xavier Cooks and Jack White have put in, especially on the defensive end and getting offensive tip-outs to keep the ball alive.
They’ve both also played above their size, negating some of the height disadvantage we have without Landale.
