Boomers fall to Lithuania, China next

Lithuania led from start to finish to win 81-68 against an Australian Boomers team that has now lost two straight games after impressing in a come-from-behind win against Argentina. As was the case against their last start loss to the Brazilians, the Boomers struggled to score against their European opponent who has compiled an impressive 8-1 slate ahead of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Australia's inability to regularly score in the paint was exacerbated by their tough shooting tight from beyond the arc. The Boomers managed just 4/19 from three-point range (21%) compared to Lithuania's 50% (7/14 3PT), while scoring being outscored 34-42 in the paint.
