The 6'6 guard was the 2010/11 Rookie of the Year, and last played for the Indiana Pacers during the 2018/19 NBA season. He averaged 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists over 20.3 minutes, in 69 regular season games player.
Evans was dismissed and disqualified in May this year for violating the NBA/NBPA's anti-drug program. HoopsHype's Alex Kennedy reported that Evans tested positive for "drugs of abuse". This does not include steroid or performance-enhancing drugs (SPED).
According to ESPN, Evans would be eligible for reinstatement to the NBA in 2021. This can only be done with approval from both the league, and the players' association.
