Uluc: Creek receives second 10-day deal with Nets

Mitch Creek’s NBA journey continues.

Earlier today, Fox Sports Australia’s Olgun Uluc confirmed Creek’s deal with the Brooklyn Nets been renewed.

According to the NBL’s Liam Santamaria, Nets are said to be impressed with Creek’s work ethic and his ability to make impact plays.

Creek signed a 10-day contract in late January, and has played three games to date, including a career-high 19 minutes against the Boston Celtics, when he had 6 points, 5 rebounds, an assist and a steal.

It’s one step along a long road to an actual long-term NBA deal. This will also be Creek’s second and final 10-day contract this season – the NBA does not allow a third deal.

But for now, we’re all looking forward to more of Mitch Creek in the NBA.

It's all about Banner 18. And our Aussies in the NBA. And selfless passes. And hard cuts. And defense. Andddd this is where I stop before I get too carried away. Really, it's all about this beautiful sport we know and love as basketball.
