The Dallas Mavericks recently sent franchise superstar Luka Dončić to Los Angeles in a blockbuster trade, and Aussie Danté Exum could be a major beneficiary.
The NBA was shaken to its core just days out from the 2025 trade deadline, when the Dallas Mavericks traded away their franchise centrepiece - Luka Dončić . In exchange for a package revolving around Anthony Davis, Dončić was sent to the Los Angeles Lakers, leaving much of the NBA community bewildered.
The trade essentially meant that Dallas lost a back court stud, while gaining one of the league’s top big men, and also that there would be major implications for Aussie Maverick Danté Exum.
