US High School: 10 Australian prospects you should be watching

Here are some names to look out for in the Australian basketball talent pipeline.

It can be a handful keeping track of young Australian basketballers, with the amount of talent coming through our country of late. The task is made more challenging when they decide to spread their wings and develop their games internationally.

To help get you up to speed, here are 10 standout Australian expat juniors flourishing over in American high schools.

Mathiang Maker

Dream City Christian (Arizona) | Class of 2023 | Forward | 6’8

Of all the Makers off abroad, Mathiang Maker may be the least known. He’s also the most unique. Unlike the many seven footers we’ve come to know, including Thon, Makur and Matur, Mathiang stands at only 6’8, making him the only wing in the family.

Despite this difference, there are many common characteristics to his brothers and cousins.
