Uluc: Jerome Randle to make return to Adelaide 36ers
Handle Randle will be back with the Adelaide 36ers this season.
According to Fox Sports Australia's Olgun Uluc, the 36ers will be re-signing guard Jerome Randle, and simultaneously releasing Deshon Taylor.
Randle, who last played with Russia's Lokomotiv Kuban --where Boomer swingman Ryan Broekhoff formerly played at-- will be making his return to Adelaide, where he made a stellar run and emerged league MVP back in 2017, along with NBL first team honours.
The 32 year old guard finished his most recent NBL season with the Sydney Kings in 2018/19, finishing a 27-game run with an 18.7 point, 4.2 rebound, 4.2 assist average, over 33.3 minutes played.
According to Uluc, Adelaide made the move with a focus to capitalise on their preseason turnout with a big name.
The Adelaide 36ers play their first NBLxNBA preseason game against the Utah Jazz on 6 October 2019, Sunday 10am AEST.
Update: Both Randle and Taylor will reportedly play in the Jazz game.
