U16 Girls National Championships: Three prospects (and more) that starred in Bendigo

With time to sit back and reflect on July's U16 Girls National Championships, we're taking a look at a handful of the players that impressed.

The boys put on a good show, but the talent pool might have been even deeper at July’s 2024 Under-16 Girls National Championships in Bendigo. It really did look like anyone’s tournament to win at times, with even eventual champions Queensland South forced to scrap and claw to some close wins on their way to the title.

The cream eventually rose to the top, though, in the form of both that South team and some outstanding individual performers from right across the country. Now a couple of months removed from the madness of tournament play, it’s the perfect time to look back at just a few of the stars that stepped up on the national stage.
