U16 Boys National Championships: Four names (and more) that stood out

We take a look back at July's National Champs - here's a deep dive into some of the male talent that stood out during the tournament.

It was billed as a showcase of the best young talent in the country, and July’s Under-16 Boys National Championships delivered in spades. A dominant Victoria Metro side claimed the gold medal and took the headlines, but there were stars from every state shining bright on the national stage.

While the tournament is now two months in the rear view mirror, it’s not too late to look back at some of the top performers from a week and a half of non-stop hoops in Bendigo. These are just a handful of the players that stepped up and showed out, in no particular order, but they are undoubtedly a glimpse into the future of Australian men’s basketball.
