After being played in Sydney to coincide with the FIBA Women’s World Cup last year, the 2023 Australian U14 Club Championships are set to be held at Casey Stadium in Victoria, from 24 - 29 September.
In 2022, it was a dominant Nunawading Spectres from Victoria that took out both the boys and girls championships, and this year they are looking to reload and do it all again with their teams set to feature across both divisions, albeit with vastly different looking outfits.
While the Spectres will be out to defend their titles, there are several other clubs represented across both divisions. Illawarra and Hornsby Ku Rin Gai (New South Wales), Norwood and Forestville (South Australia), Logan (Queensland), Warwick (Western Australia) and Casey (Victoria) as hosts will be well represented. Regionalised representative teams from Tasmania and the Northern and Australian Capital Territories will also feature in what will be the first taste of national competition for talented players from across the country.
