Jock Landale's stocks are rising and if can keep up this level of play he should be a Most Improved Player candidate.
One of the great stories of the first fortnight of the NBA’s 2022/23 season has been the rise of Jock Landale.
Despite the season being so young, the Australian centre has established himself as a key role player on what will be a contending team, come the season's pointy end.
Landale’s play and minutes in preseason suggested he could be in for a bigger role than he saw under Gregg Popovich at San Antonio, however, he has clearly performed well above anybody’s expectations.
If he keeps this level of play up, Landale will not only earn himself a great contract next season, he will also be making a great case for Most Improved Player this season.
