We’re taking #AussieHoops coverage to the next level this World Cup!

Welcome to The Podium Pod: The Race for Naismith, a new podcast series that aims to cover the Australian Boomers as they begin their quest for a medal once again, this time in the FIBA 2023 Basketball World Cup.

Host Adam Webster will be leading the show together with journalist Tom Hersz and for longtime followers of The Pick and Roll, familiar faces and seasoned voices in Ben Mallis and Jacob Doole. Tom, Jacob and Ben will be travelling and following the action at ground level, adding their perspectives as the games play out.

In this debut episode - Adam, Jacob and Ben introduce the team and the show, discuss their all-time favourite Boomer, picks on the other international teams. Also, early thoughts on the Australian men’s national team training camp, key positional battles, potential frontrunners and what the potential final Boomers squad could look like.
