There is no shortage of Australians making the most of their opportunities in leagues across Europe as seasons get underway.
The European basketball seasons are in full swing and there are plenty of Australians who will be hoping to lead their respective teams to glory. With Aussies spread across all of Europe, there’s many leagues in many countries to keep track of, but we’ve got it all covered.

Some are returning to familiar situations, while others are making their debut in Europe.
Hungary: Darcee Garbin (Uni Gyor), Steph Reid (Sopron) and Marena Whittle (Szekszard)
Opals representatives and an Olympian have made moves to Hungary for season 2024/25, with Opal squad member Darcee Garbin and 3x3 Olympian Marena Whittle finding new homes after impressive first seasons in Europe last year. Meanwhile, Opal squad member Steph Reid has made the move to Europe for the first time in her career after tearing up the WNBL and NBL1 over the past couple of years.
