Special Ben Simmons package headlines Sixers silent auction
The Philadelphia 76ers have launched their annual silent auction in their efforts to raise money for the Sixers Youth Foundation, the franchise’s nonprofit organisation committed to positively impacting the lives of young people.
The silent auction is a chance for fans all around the world to participate and give back to those in need.
For Australian basketball fans, there is a special “Ben Simmons package” available to be bid on. This package includes a Sixers basketball and Simmons photo, both personally signed by the NBA’s reigning rookie of the year. Bid cans be made online via the Sixers website (link).
There are also a number of other items to be bid on, including Sixers orientated experiences such as:
Meet and greets with Sixers legends Julius “Dr. J” Erving and Allen Iverson.
Opportunity to play at the Sixers offical training facility.
Opportunity to ring the ceremonial liberty bell before a Sixers game.
Courtside tickets to Sixers games.
Fans have a chance to bid on more than 100 items at sixersyouthfoundation.org/auction until March 11.
Last year, the silent auction and accompanying gala event held by the Sixers raised more than $1 million.
