Some players take a while to adjust to a new league, especially when that league is one of the best in the world. For others though, it just clicks right away.

Tera Reed, who is just five games into her WNBL career with the Melbourne Boomers, has had virtually no adjustment period. She’s been playing as if she’s been in the league for a few years already, and the Boomers have been reaping the benefits of that with their 5-0 start to the season.

For Reed, who hails from Auckland, New Zealand, you might say this was all part of her plan. It’s a plan she put in motion from a young age to pursue basketball as seriously as possible and see how far it could take her.
