It’s been an absolute rollercoaster of a WNBL season, but after many twists and turns it all comes down to the Melbourne Boomers and Perth Lynx battling it out in a best-of-three Grand Final series.

For all the drama, cancelled and postponed games and unknowns, the two teams that shaped as the standout heavyweights in the preseason will meet in the decider. The matchups are tantalising and with it all on the line, you get the sense this will be going down to the wire.

Speaking of going down to the wire, the minor premiership was decided in the final game of the WNBL regular season. It was Perth’s for the taking, but they were unable to claim a win against an undermanned Townsville outfit and thus, Melbourne claimed the honours and with that also head into the Grand Final Series with the all-important homecourt advantage.
