It was a struggling season for the NBL1 Womens teams of the Central District Lions, Diamond Valley Eagles, Inner West Bulls, South West Slammers and the Sunshine Coast Phoenix.

Here are three key things each club could need, to rise up the table and turn their fortunes around.  

NBL1 Central | Central District Lions

The Lions are moving in the right direction - but it hasn’t been quite enough to lift it off the bottom of the table just yet. In the 2022 season, coach Scott Herriman managed to achieve the Lions first win since 2019 and took them to their most successful season since 2018 – it was however just the two wins in an extremely lean historical record.
