With 83 Australian women taking to the court in NCAA Division I this season, there was no shortage of players making a case to be included in the preseason All-Australian teams heading into the 2018-19 season. Further to this, three players who were among the best in the nation in 2016-17 - Alicia Froling, Carly Turner and Grace Lennox - will make their returns to the court after spending most or all of last season out with injury. With that trio returning and a number of Aussies proving to be vital members of their respective teams, competition for spots was fierce and that trend looks set to continue throughout the season.
