But the offseason has already begun across the country, with re-signings and player moves already being announced in respective conferences.
Nailing your recruiting is the first step towards NBL1 glory, and we saw that earlier this year. Take Ringwood’s women for instance. They went hard during the offseason, landing numerous players and heading down the European route when it came to their imports. The result was the South conference crown and a second-place finish at Nationals.

Dillon Stith (Frankston to Waverley)
It was only a few months ago that Frankston almost claimed NBL1 National glory as a wildcard.
Now one of their key pieces is on the move, with Dillon Stith moving a little closer to the CBD, joining the Waverley Falcons.
