NBL: Round 13 Punters Paradise
|Steve Chalmers||Dec 30, 2015|
It’s that time of the week again, and New Year's is upon us!
Hopefully the new year will bring us some new luck with this column, we're on the wrong end of things to start off. Let’s not fuss around and we’ll get straight to the punch.
Remember, all odds shown are courtesy of William Hill Australia.
Round 13's Best NBL Selections
Wednesday 30th December Sydney Kings vs. Melbourne United
Sydney Kings +3.5 ($1.90) & Sydney Kings h2h ($2.35)
As you can see there's obviously a trend of us betting Melbourne games. That's because, right now, they're the most unorganised team in the league. You just have no idea what they can serve up (ie. see last week), which provides the home team in Sydney as tremendous value.
The return of Josh Childress will obviously have the Kings primed for a good performance, however in addition to that, the team will also want to notch up their first win at the Sports Centre for the season. Go Kings Go!
Thursday 31st December Townsville Crocodiles vs. Illawarra Hawks
Illawarra Hawks h2h ($1.48)
The Hawks are the form team of the competition. We think they've been entered here at a boosted price, simply because of how competitive the Crocs can come out on any given night. With both sides having a week off, the cream should rise and the Hawks should notch up another W.
Saturday 1st January Sydney Kings vs. Cairns Taipans
Under 170 points ($1.90)
The Taipans haven't had a knack of scoring a bunch of points on the road, while the Kings sit towards the bottom of the pile in terms of points per game. 170 is a lot of points to play and we're happy to watch this one play!
Ladies and Gentlemen we hope you enjoyed another edition of NBL Punters Paradise, we hope that these can reap rewards in the near future and therefore (hope) you return to read what is sure to be positive edition of Punters Paradise for Round 14!
