NBA Global Academy dominates India, faces TSF next
It's on to championship day. Australia's NBA Global Academy clinched a decisive win against NBA Academy India 94-38, and the game was never close right from the opening tip. NBA Global Academy finished the first quarter on a dominant 32-11 run, and went into half-time 63-13, with India only scoring 2 points in the second quarter.
NBA Academy India could never capitalise on their offensive options, and shot poorly. In contrast, NBA Global Academy pushed the ball hard, and often found easy options under the rim or at the three-point line. Blake Jones led the team with 18 points and 2 assists, on a perfect 4/4 from three-point range.
NBA Global Academy had an excellent game from all angles. They hit 19 of their 30 three-point attempts, only had 7 turnovers, recorded 20 assists in total, and kept a 29-25 rebounding advantage.
Mojave King showed his aggressive play off once again, scoring from both outside shooting and strong drives to the rim. The forward had 16 points (4/5 3P) with two rebounds.
Dyson Daniels and Joshua Giddey had 8 points and 4 rebounds each, with Daniels handing out 2 assists. Giddey led the team with 5 assists. Taran Armstrong had 6 points (2/3 3P), and Kane Waters recorded 2 assists.
