With the European leagues now in full swing, it's time to check in to see how the Australian women are tracking.
The European basketball leagues are now in full swing, and there are Australian women all over the continent making noise. Some have returned to clubs they’ve played for previously, while others are in Europe for the first time in their respective careers.
With the Paris Olympics next year, there are a number of potential Olympic Opals who will be relying on having great seasons in Europe in order to really put their hands up for selection.

Bec Allen (Valencia)
The connection between Bec Allen and Valencia is very real. After being forced to sit out last season due to her awful injuries sustained at the 2022 World Cup, she’s back where she belongs with Valencia and it’s great to see.

The fans love her in Spain, and she’s the type of player that just makes whatever team she’s on better. That was the case in Connecticut this past WNBA season where she was a vital starter for the Sun, and she will once again bring so much on both ends of the court for Valencia.
