Australia’s first championship ring in the NBA came on the back of the greatest season by any team in the history of the league.
Starting in the middle for the famous 1995/96 Bulls was of course Luc Longley. During the Finals he did a lot of his work lining up against Sonics big men Sam Perkins and Frank Brickowski, but also had his hands full having to guard Shawn Kemp when Dennis Rodman was off the floor.
Longley was Chicago’s fourth top scorer in the series behind Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Toni Kukoc, and was second behind Shawn Kemp for blocks across both teams.
