Vasiljevic has been in contact with a number of colleges but Lehigh and Albany are recruiting him the strongest, with many more likely to come after Australia's FIBA U17 World Championship campaign. The University of Albany is very aggressive with their recruitment of Australian talent, with 4 Australians (Luke Devlin, Michael Rowley, Sam Rowley, Peter Hooley) on their roster last season and 1 more (Geremy McKay) signed for this season.

Vasiljevic solidified his place as one of Australia's best guards for the Class of 2016 after an impressive showing at the FIBA Oceania U16 Championship for Men - averaging 19.3 ppg and 3.7 rpg as Australia defeated New Zealand 2-1 in their series to qualify for the upcoming World Championships.

Over the next few days we’ll continue to bring you the latest recruitment updates for the Australian U17 Men’s team as they prepare for their FIBA U17 World Championship campaign.

The FIBA U17 World Championships begins on the 8th of August in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with the Australian U17 team tipping off against Japan at 7:30pm (AEST).
