The Australian Boomers were supposed to tip off at 7 a.m. against Lithuania this morning, in Buenos Aires. The game was unfortunately cancelled due to a leaking roof.
The game was delayed for over an hour, before it was finally called off.
According to Basketball Australia on Facebook, players had raised safety concerns, due to the court floor being slippery.
Warmup videos of the players warming up were filmed by journalist Jimmy Quijada Jr. A full Periscope replay of the warmup is also available.
The Boomers will play Argentina tomorrow. The game time has been confirmed to be 9 p.m. in Buenos Aires, which is 10 a.m. AEST.
We will be posting updates on all upcoming games via social media, including game time, potential live streams and stats.
According to Basketball Australia on Twitter, the men's team is still hoping to be able to play four warmup games in South America, prior to the Rio Olympics' commencement.
