Last-Tear Poa's historic run has her on top of the college basketball world
The Australian knows what it takes to win college national championships, and she's got the accolades to prove it.
Australian Last-Tear Poa has enjoyed a historical run in American college basketball over the last couple of years. It culminated in the ultimate prize recently, an NCAA Division I national championship with Louisiana State University (LSU).

Poa, who developed her game in the Dandenong Rangers junior system in Victoria, is a do-it-all player who can shoot the ball and defend at a high level. She was a relentless burst of energy off the bench in a star-studded LSU squad that only lost two games on their way to winning the school’s first national championship.
Winning it all with LSU was Poa’s second taste of national championship glory, having led Northwest Florida to the 2021 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national championship where she was crowned NJCAA Tournament MVP and averaged 23 points per game for the season.
