Jonah Bolden and Maccabi Tel Aviv toppled Luka Doncic and Real Madrid to stay unbeaten in the EuroLeague, while Ryan Broekhoff had a massive highlight reel put-back jam as Lokomotiv Kuban extended their winning start to the season at 5-0.
Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Brock Motum traveled to Spain to take on Barcelona searching for their first win of the season. Australian Boomer Brock Motum came off the bench to add 4 points and 3 rebounds in 18 minutes as his side improved to 1-5. their next opponent is the unbeaten Maccabi Tel Aviv and Jonah Bolden.
The Israeli's managed to maintain their unblemished start following a 90-83 over another Spanish giant in Real Madrid and their superstar in the making Luka Doncic. Maccabi dominated the paint, outrebounding Real Madrid 53-33 with 22 of them offensive. NBA draftee Jonah Bolden was again in outstanding form, going a perfect 4-of-4 from inside the arc for 8 points and 7 rebounds. Maccabi will look to extend their winning streak against Efes next week in a clash that is likely to see Bolden and Motum match up against each other.
Ryan Broekhoff played an important role in helping Lokomotiv Kuban extend their unbeaten start to the EuroCup season thanks to a 93-83 victory over Partizan Belgrade. The Australian Boomer was one of six Lokomotiv players to score in double digits, adding 10 points and 4 rebounds in coming off the bench. While Lokomotiv opened slowly, they edge their way into the lead in the second term and would never look back to record a great road win.
