EuroLeague: Jock Landale in career-best form with Zalgiris
Zalgiris Kaunas may have slumped to a ninth straight loss in EuroLeague this week, but it was not for the effort of Jock Landale who is delivering career-best form.
Playing two games this week in the best competition across Europe, Zalgiris could not find a way to halt their recent slide despite two big games from the 6'11, 2019 FIBA World Cup representative.
Landale would deliver a new career-best in a 74-83 loss to Khimki Moscow, showcasing his offensive talents in playing an almost lone hand for Zalgiris. The former Saint Mary's standout was super-efficient, shooting 7 of 11 from the field and 10 of 12 from the free throw line to amass 24 points to go with 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

Trailing early, try as they may Zalgiris had no answer for Stefan Jovic and Alexey Shved who both contributed 25 points apiece in Khimki's win.
The loss to Khimki followed a a 6 point loss to Anadolu Efes Istanbul (68-74). In that contest, Landale added a team-best 16 points (3-7 3PT) with 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
Unlike Landale, Brock Motum's opportunities have all dried up at Valencia. The 2016 Rio Olympian did not play in either of the Spanish side's two EuroLeague games this week, further speculating his time at Valencia is set to expire.
