A leap of faith following NBL21 has rewarded Australian forward Craig Moller with more minutes, better production, and a callup to the Boomers for their all-important World Cup Qualifying matches later this month.

Following two seasons of serviceable contributions to the Sydney Kings’ rotation, Moller set off on his first European stint in his professional career after signing with s.Oliver Würzburg in the German domestic top-flight.

The former home of German basketball great Dirk Nowitzki, playing in Würzburg offered Moller the opportunity to play in a new system on a different continent, experience a greater array of playing styles, and see more floor time, after being stuck behind the star-studded frontcourt of Xavier Cooks and Jarell Martin in his hometown of Sydney.
