COVID-19 has reshaped the league and exposed some underlying issues with local opportunity. How could the NBL go about solving them? More importantly, should they?
By my (admittedly rusty) calculus, the NBL collectively has just two full-time roster spots left that are likely to be filled by locals. At this point in this offseason, that shouldn’t be unexpected. Under normal circumstances, we’d be a week out from the season, and you might be reading some wildly inaccurate predictions written by yours truly.
