Following a standout European season in Turkey and France last season, Brock Motum returned to the continent following a tough omission from the Australian Boomers’ Olympic squad, suffering a similar fate just two years prior ahead of the World Cup.

After impressive showings at Monaco’s training camp in northern Italy, Motum would eventually sign with the French LNB Pro A heavyweights and seal the Queenslander’s return to EuroLeague basketball after a one-season sabbatical.

Now back onto the continent’s highest stage, Motum has maintained his textbook shooting efficiency and production to have established himself in coach Saša Obradović’s rotation. And with Monaco in the hunt for a prized EuroLeague playoff spot in the new year, the opportunity to rise up Obradović’s pecking order is staring Motum right in the face.
