Another thrilling NBL season is now in the books. After a tight and competitive regular season, and one of the best NBL finals series of all time, you’d consider it time to decompress, but for teams, it’s the beginning of 2024’s next chapter: free agency.

In this returning series, we’re going to have a look at talent not currently in the league, and their chances of landing on a roster next season. First off, the internationals. The global basketball landscape is becoming more competitive than ever in the fight to secure Australian and Kiwi signatures, and consequently NBL teams are increasingly required to dig deep into their pockets to retain, or return, our best locals. Which currently overseas players could we see in an NBL uniform next season?
