Hadziomerovic finishes United's roster
Melbourne United has finalised their playing roster for the 2015/16 NBL season with the signing of Igor Hadziomerovic.
Hadziomerovic joins the team after playing for Boise State University in America for the past four years. He has also represented Australia at the Under 19 level in the 2011 world championships.
Known as 'Iggy', Hadziomerovic will be coming off the bench for United backing up in both guard positions, Hadziomerovic has an important role when Stephen Holt and Chris Goulding sit down for a rest.
"I think I can bring tough defence, push up the tempo and bring some energy to the guys," Hadziomerovic said.
"I think I can get into the paint and create for others,"
Hadziomerovic travelled to China with the team for a chance to show off his skill set and work rate to the United coaches before he was signed.
"It was really good trip...the games were intense, it was just good to be in that environment going into the season,"
Hadziomerovic completes the roster for Melbourne United joining Stephen Holt, Chris Goulding, Todd Blanchfield, Daniel Kickert, Ekene Ibekwe, Nate Tomlinson, Dave Barlow, Majok Majok and Chris Patton in the quest for a championship.
"[I want] to get better every day...and hopefully win a championship," says Hadziomerovic.
