It’s an exciting time for women’s basketball in Australia, and the future might be even brighter. As the Opals continue to shine on the world stage and more Aussies than ever make their way to the WNBA, the best young players in the country look ready to take the mantle sooner rather than later after an outstanding week of hoops at last month’s Under-18 National Championships.

With one of the more impressive national champions in recent memory and star power from every state, there’s plenty to unpack from another massive tournament. We’re barely scratching the surface, looking at just a few of the stars that stood out across the week.
