With 77 clubs playing in five divisions spread right across the country, the NBL1 is a mammoth basketball machine and only getting bigger. It’s clear that the talent level across the board is better than ever, with plenty of stars emerging and putting in some big performances.

Right now, they’re all chasing success with their current teams, but they might also be making their case for a shot at the next level. There’s still three months left in the NBL offseason, but things are happening quickly – just ask Perth Wildcats fans. Teams are locking in their stars now, but once that merry-go-round stops, they’ll be looking for the best way to fill out their roster and maximise their top-end talent.

Some clubs use their last few roster spots for some extra insurance, others for a specific role, and some might want to take a high-upside swing in the hopes of finding their next breakout star.
