The VTB United League pace-setting Lokomotiv had only allowed 67.8 points per game this season, yet Avtodor exploded in the second half for 50 points alone. The victory was established on the back of an 18-8 first term, a position from which Rytas never relinquished. Australian veteran guard Ben Madgen saw just 5 minutes of action and had little opportunity to impact the game. His side now turns their attention to ladder leader Zalgiris Kaunas in a top of the table clash that promises to be the game of the season.
Michael Vigor contributed 8 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists, but the Bristol Flyers dropped a close one 84-79 to the third placed Glasgow Rocks in the British Basketball League. Currently mid-table, Bristol pushed Glasgow all the way, before their opponent pulled away late for the narrow win.
