Just when we thought we had a grip on how COVID-19 would impact basketball in Australia, everything changed.

Omicron and the new attitude of state and federal governments of living with the virus and getting on with life has seen a shift in how sporting leagues look to handle outbreaks.

The NBL and WNBL haven’t been missed in the huge wave that is smashing the country right now, and it’s left hoops fans starved of action, league front offices scrambling and teams in all-sorts.
