The Australian Opal connected on an incredible 17-22 shots from the field that included 4-5 from beyond the three-point arc and 15-16 free throws on her way to her record-breaking performance. The 6'8 pivot reached 50 points on a three-point play with just over 2 minutes left, before hitting a three-pointer from the top of the key to break the previous record of 51 set by Riquna Williams back in 2013.

Cambage, who also added 10 rebounds and five blocked shots, eclipsed her previous career best of 37 points which she compiled earlier this month against Chicago.
"It's pretty big," Cambage said after the game. "I've had big numbers in China, I've had big numbers in Australia, and I've heard a lot of people say I could never have big numbers here in the WNBA. So I guess this game is for y'all."

The previous highest score by an Australian in the WNBA belonged to the legendary Lauren Jackson who poured in a then league-best 47 points for the Seattle Storm in 2007 in a win against Washington en route to being named All-Star, Defensive Player of the Year, All-WNBA First Team, and league MVP.
Cambage is averaging an impressive 19.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season for the Wings who currenly boast the fourth best record in the WNBA.
In further great news for Cambage, she has also been selected as a WNBA All-Star! The centre is one of 22 players selected, with teams to be named during the WNBA All-Star Draft on Friday (AEST).
