After somewhat disappointing news was released earlier today regarding Corey Webster's being released from his contract with the Wildcats, Cotton's re-signing will be a big boost for the defending champions.
Currently playing for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Cotton spoke to NBL Media after the Hawks' latest game and didn't give too much away.
"I mean right now I'm still trying to finish (the NBA Summer League), but we'll see what's in store," Cotton said.
Cotton set the NBL alight last season, playing 16 games and leading the league in scoring with 23.05ppg; he was unstoppable in his 45-point finale in Game Two of the NBL grand final series.
With Cotton seemingly on his way back, the Wildcats continue to keep tabs on Casey Prather's progress within NBA circles.
