Broekhoff's hot shooting leads Lokomotiv to the Final Four
Ryan Broekhoff showed off his shooting touch from beyond the three-point line, helping Lokomotiv Kuban make history in reaching the Euroleague Final Four for the first time after accounting for FC Barcelona Lassa in a five-game quarterfinal series (3-2).
Game 5 of the Euroleague playoffs came to a start, as Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar took on FC Barcelona Lassa. Tipping-off the first half of action Lokomotiv Kuban came out looking like the team that wanted it more. They outplayed Barcelona through the first two quarters of action, allowing the Russian side to go into the main break up 50-39, with Ryan Broekhoff's hot shooting from beyond the arc doing most of the damage.
In the second half of play, Barcelona started to show some fight, going on a run of their own as they outscored their Russian adversary 23-8 in the third period. However Lokomotiv answered back with a strong showing in the fourth quarter. They held Barcelona to 5 points in the final frame of action, and because of that, they were able to come away convincing 81-67 victors. With the win, Lokomotiv booked their ticket to the Final Four in Berlin, Germany.

Ryan Broekhoff was on fire, hitting 4 shots from behind the arc (4/6 3PT) as he finished the night with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. His outstanding play allowed Lokomotiv to outscore their opponents by 15 points in his 33 minutes of action. The energy and hustle that he brought to the game set the tone for the team, and in the end Lokomotiv was able to come away as winners because of it.
