Breaking down the Crocs roster ahead of the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup
The Australian Crocs will be hoping to break a ten-year medal drought at the FIBA Under-17 World Cup this year in Turkey.
Australia will enter the 2024 FIBA Under-17 World Cup as the second-most successful team in the tournament’s relatively short history. The United States have won all six editions thus far, since the inaugural competition in 2010, while Australia have come away with two silver medals in 2012 and 2014. The Crocs will be chasing a return to the medal podium after what was a tough 2022 quarter final exit to Spain by a narrow 70-68 scoreline. This time, Australia starts the competition in Group D, fighting for a knockout berth against Egypt, Germany and Canada. The action kicks off on 29 June and runs for a little over a week, with the finale scheduled for 7 July.
