The Australian Boomers have come a long way since the turn of the century, with an ever-growing cast of NBA players and a historic bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. There are currently fifteen Aussies contracted to NBA teams, including those on two-way deals, which is already more than enough to fill out a twelve man roster for a major international tournament.
But as Australia steps into an exciting future of basketball, there are a number of threats that could see players pulled from the Boomers’ talent pool.
