Ben Simmons adds to his collection, wins Naismith Player of the Year
Ben Simmons continues to be recognised for his stellar senior year, winning the 2015 Naismith Player of the Year Trophy.

The 6'10 forward out of Melbourne has had an impressive month, receiving a number of accolades: McDonald's All American, Jordan Brand Classic Participant, Morgan Wootten Player of the Year and Nike Hoop Summit World team selection.
The Naismith Boys High School Player of the Year award is among the most prestigious national honours awarded each year to the top basketball player in the nation. Past recipients of the award include Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Dwight Howard.
Simmons, who has signed with LSU, attends Montverde Academy in Florida and averaged an extremely impressive 27.5 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 3.9 apg, 2.5 spg and 1.4 bpg in his senior year. Montverde is expected to be named as a part of the DICKS National Championship field, giving Simmons the chance to win his third national championship in a row.
