Seattle Storm had a massive win over the LA Sparks at 81-69. Breanna Stewart was in another league, scoring a massive 27 points for the Storm to take home the win. Sami Whitcomb wasn’t able to make much of an impact in her time on the court.
The Storm weren’t able to continue their winning form as they came up against Connecticut and lost 83-79. The Sun have continued to show their depth this season and are playing like true contenders. Whitcomb had 3 points for this game.
The Phoenix Mercury paid tribute to one of their own, and Australia’s all time great in Penny Taylor by retiring her No.13 jersey.
