Aussies in NBA: Joe Ingles starts free agency meetings with Clippers on Sunday
Free agency frenzy ended before it even began, for Patty Mills. Joe Ingles on the other hand, will likely not end his free agency discussions as quickly.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Mark Bartelstein (Ingles' agent) has confirmed the 29 year old swingman has yet to open discussions with NBA teams, and will start taking them on Saturday (Sunday in Australian time, 2 July 2017).

There is no indication that Ingles is determined to stay with the Utah Jazz.
Wojnarowski has said on ESPN's The Jump, that the Los Angeles Clippers are interested in Joe Ingles.

Utah journalist Tony Jones, who writes for the Salt Lake Tribune, has confirmed that the Clippers are set to meet with Ingles on Saturday (Sunday, Australian time).

Ingles began his NBA career with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2014, until injury issues struck. The team decided to waive Ingles after that, before the 2014/15 regular season began.
“Even Doc [Rivers] has said publicly that they would have liked to keep me, but they had an injury," Ingles told The Pick and Roll during an interview.
"Jordan Farmar was injured, and Jarred Cunningham, the other player, it was either me or him [to make the final roster]. He was a point guard, so it made sense. I’m pretty realistic with things and with the way it was.”
Ingles was earlier rumoured to have a 4-year, 60 million offer sheet on the table from the Orlando Magic. Should this be legitimate, Ingles' next salary might top that of Patty Mills, who will reportedly sign a $50 million, 4-year extension with the San Antonio Spurs. Mills' new deal currently tops Aussies in NBA history, according to Fox Sports Australia's Olgun Uluc.
