This comes as no surprise, but the Jazz have officially exercised its team option on sophomore guard Dante Exum for the 2016-17 NBA season. Financial terms were not disclosed, in accordance with team policy.
Exum is unlikely to make an early appearance this season while he recovers from ACL surgery, but has been observed to be walking without a limp during recent practice sessions. Exum himself has not commented on a return timetable as yet.
He has also been seen recently at an open practice session, together with JP Gibson (video from last year's practice), who has since recovered from his battle with leukemia.

The team have also made the same decision on three other Jazz players: Rodney Hood (third year option), Trey Burke and Rudy Gobert (fourth year options).
