Aussies In NBA: Ingles struggles as Utah outlast Los Angeles in O.T
The Jazz took on the Lakers for the second time in 3 days in Honolulu. Unlike their first encounter which ended in a comfortable win for Utah, L.A came to play and it went right down to the wire. The Jazz eventually prevailed 117-114 in O.T.
Ingles wasn't as efficient this time around, as shown by his +/- rating of -10. In his 15 minutes on the court, he managed 4 points, 1 assist and a rebound. Unfortunately he couldn't find his shooting touch from the outside and finished 0/3 from beyond the arc.
Coach Snyder didn't call on Ingles until the start of the second quarter but when called upon he was ready. He dished out an assist to Rodney Hood within 15 seconds and Hood then returned the favour 2 minutes later with a nice assist to Ingles for the driving lay-up.
In the closing minutes of regulation, with the game in the balance, Snyder opted to go with Elijah Millsap and Hood in favour of Ingles. You'd be a fool to read too much into this move as it just wasn't Ingles' night.
Keep an eye on Ingles as he looks to bounce back against Phoenix on Saturday.
As I'm sure you all know the new NBL season is upon us and it was clear that Ingles was enjoying the brand new NBL app whilst in Honolulu.
Great first win by the @Adelaide36ers!!! Was awesome to watch on the new @NBL app here in Hawaii! #6ers

It's great to see Ingles continuing to support the NBL and giving the app a huge thumbs up.
