Aussies in NBA: Dante Exum is dominating Utah Summer League
Dante Exum had never looked more out of place in a Summer League game, than he did today.
He put on quite the show against the San Antonio Spurs in Utah Summer League today, and quite literally destroyed everyone in his way.
I wrote about Exum needing to show his improved shooting yesterday, pointing out the pull-up jumper as a sore spot.
He proceeded to swish this with supreme confidence.

Exum then decided defence was more fun, and sent that layup right back into Texas. Someone's been taking notes from Rudy Gobert.

Finishes at the rim? He's got you covered.

Exum managed 16 points at halftime, including a buzzer beater bank shot from deep.

Despite these highlights, Exum's handle still looks like it needs further work, especially if he is to play as a point guard in the season ahead.

Exum managed to finish the game with 18 points, six rebounds and five assists on 7-12FG in 27 minutes. The signs are good for the young Aussie and if his production continues at this level, it won't be long until the Jazz coaching staff decide that he's no longer required to participate in the remaining Summer League games.
In other Aussie news, Utah Summer League teammates Mitch Creek and Nathan Sobey both did not take to the court in the Jazz's 87-74 victory over the Spurs. Nathan Sobey did not suit up sighting general soreness for his absence. Creek's game time will more likely come towards the end of the week, when the Jazz face the Sixers and the Celtics.
